Every Child Matters

Published on 08 September 2003.  This Green Paper outlined the Government’s proposals for the reform and improvement of child care, following the death of Victoria Climbié and subsequent investigations by Lord Laming and various inspectorates dealing with matters relating to children.

 

Every Child Matters is one of the most important policy initiative and development programmes in relation to children and children's services in recent years.  It has been the title of 3 government papers, leading to the Children Act 2004.
